Just add Sliced Toasted Almonds
serves 6-8 people
1 lb. green beans
1 tbs. olive oil
1 fine diced shallot
1 crushed clove of garlic
2 oz. sliced almonds
salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place green beans, olive oil, diced shallots, and crushed garlic in a bowl and mix gently. Place mixture onto a baking tray and cook uncovered for about 15 minutes. Once cooked, place in serving bowl, sprinkle top with salt, pepper and sliced almonds, toss gently. Serve hot.
